wierd dreams

this is the wierd dreams thread. Give us some insight. Maybe we'll even find the meaning of it. I'm sure this will be interesting for all parties.

I'll start off:

I dreampt I went to a movie theater to see a feature alone, some blonde came real strong onto me, and we started making out and crap, and she puked in my mouth (and we just decided to go with it lol).....I know because my brain was thinking of the taste of chili.

I think the dream meant something along the lines of I want to disgust the people I want to love or something like that.

I frequently have bizarre serams that make no sense whatsoever to anyone who is not me...and very little sense to anyone who IS me.

There was an observation that I THINK remember being on this forum, maybe a thread, maybe someone's sig, but it basically observed that there is no point whatsoever of ever trying to tell someone else about one of your dreams. They will ALL sound lame and wierd, no matter how deep or profound they were to you when you had them.

Having said that, I remember a dream that freaked me right the $@#% out. I tried to tell people (a few times) about it and noboody was at all bothered by the part that ad made me wake up in a cold sweat.

That dream could have been a Bjork video, according to my son. The part that made me wake up all wierded out was when a huge blackbird that had apparently read too much Poe, flew into the room I was in and landed on top of a shelf, turned its head sideways to look eye to eye with me, opened its beak to 'caw' or whatever sound should have come out, and sounded like huge church bells tolling.

And every time I tried ti express how creepy that was, whoever I was talking to would say "Okay, and..." like they were waiting for more wierd.

Hmmm....interesting. Right. Right. Uh huh....yup...

I have many strange dreams. A recent one was the realisation that I'd never actually owned a pair of pet elephants. I'd never had memories of this before, but after I woke up I had very realistic memories of having pet elephants. It was pretty confusing.

I once had a dream that I was in Madison Square Garden, with the lights dimmed and a packed house. Then an announcer started in with, "Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to tonights contest. Let's go to the starting lineups."

Then a spotlight came down near me. "At center, Shaquille O'Neal. At forward, Kevin Garnett. At the other foward, Andrei Kirilenko. At guard, Jason Kidd. At the other guard [TheBigO]." The crowd was going nuts.

Then they announced the other team. It was a bunch of out of shape, middle aged guys who looked like accountants. I started smiling because I knew it was going to be a massacre. Then we were led to mid court where there were two tables and some folding chairs and all ten of us sat down. Then they started handing out tests.

The buzzer sounded and we all started working. The accountant guys were blazing through their exams and high fiving. I was going as fast as I could but the rest of my guys were scratching their heads and tapping their pencils. I remember saying, "This isn't fair, that guy didn't even go to college and that guy barely speaks English."

Then I just kept yelling, "We're losing! We're losing!" until I woke up.

I'm gonna share a couple; not because I want answers, but because I want to work on my storytelling.:)

Dream 1:
I awaken(in my dream) to find myself in a very dark room, lying down, staring straight up at the ceiling. My entire body is fixed in its position; I can't move and I can't look around. I just stare at the ceiling which appears smooth and is reflecting a very dim light that seems to be coming from one side. I start to notice how uncomfortable the surface that I'm lying on is. It felt like a cold steel table with a sheet over it. I start to feel nervous. I know that when I went to sleep, it was on a nice comfortable bed, not a metal table. I continue staring at the ceiling and then I notice that it seems to be getting closer. The distance between me and the ceiling slowly decreases. Closer and closer and suddenly I realise, ....it's not gonna stop! I'm gonna be crushed! I watch the texture of the ceiling become clearer as it nears my face and I enter full-on panic mode. I start to shake nervously, my mind racing about what to do, but there's nothing that I can do. I can't even move. It seems like an eternity waiting for the eminent touch of the now very familiar ceiling. The last few inches happen very fast. I shut my eyes and feel the wind pass over me as I impact the flat surface. It's surface is just as cold and hard as it looked. I open my eyes. The ceiling is gone, replaced with the hardwood that makes up the floor in my room. I survived!

Dream 2:
I find myself in a park on a warm sunny day. There is a field like ones you see people flying kites from in movies. Off to the side are some trees, not alot of them, but more than a couple. I look around and enjoy the scenery. There are flowers sprinkling the field, birds flying around, people picnicing, and kids running around in the playground at the far end. I turn around and notice a large billboard behind me, right in the middle of the park. It sat about three feet off of the ground, with white lattice work underneath of it. The image on it was of a cartoon "Dennis the Menace", with his parents behind him and off to the side. I briefly notice a dirt path that comes from the side, towards the sign before turning to go behind it, into the woods, before I turn my attention back to the sign. I start to wonder if it is to promote a new movie, when I hear the sound of horses, and of metal and wood banging together. I turn to see that it's coming from a wooden box-like wagon, complete with four full sides and a wooden roof. It had black bars on the four windows and a barred door on the top. Inside were about fifteen scared women yelling for help. Without thinking I run over and jump onto the wagon. I climb the sides, open the door on top and drop inside to see what is wrong. It becomes clear that they are being taken against their will, and that they need to get out, so I push open the door on the top and start climbing out with the intent to pull them out after me. As I get my head and shoulders through the opening, I see a man dressed similar to an executioner standing on the roof of the wagon, in front of me. He raises his sword and, before I can get the rest of the way through the door, I feel the sharp burn of his blade piercing the top left side of my head and continuing until it exits below my right ear. My last thought is that I failed.
