Wife's NBD - Ibanez content

I posted an explanation of the powertap some time ago. It taps a coil with a high pass filter. It equals highs of single coil blended with lows of humbucker. I often like the mode.

One gripe I have on the electronics is the cheap battery clip. You only deal with it when changing batteries.

They are nice basses. Cort does great fretwork on the Indonesian Ibanez basses.

So every now and then, my wife gets a wild hair to learn to play bass.

I have a Lakland D55-01 from her first attempt about 20 years ago, and an Olympia Thunderchief copy from another attempt a few years after that.

She got the itch again and couple of weeks ago, and ordered one of these.

Mine would have repossessed the Lakland as well as the cash to buy another bass…LOL!!
