well i got a new puppy for my b-day and she was playing with a plastic bottle in my room and i had jsut gotten enough trust in the stand an my room and everything else to leave my new 800 dollar SRX 3 on the stand and well my puppy decied she wantsed to play with her bottle by my bass. so i moved her away and went to continue playing my video games.........then it happend i heard the gut wrenching sound of string slapping a fret board as my new bass falls neck first into an arm chair. so what i am asking is do you think it will be okay (the bass) it landed on like the 6th fret area on an arm chair and it was a normal tripod stand and it fell at an angle........this is prolly cunfusing if it is let me know and i will answer your questions

does it look hurt at all (Dings, scratches, excess dog fur?)

if not, its probably ok. plug it in, see if the electronics work, and youre good to go.

try not to let the little guy play bass anymore. his intelligence is more suited for guitar, anyway

I once threw a six string carvin bass in a nightclub, from about ten feet in front of the stage, while standing in the crowd, to the stage which was an eight foot stage. It suffered no damage at all. I think you'll be ok.

If your puppy is a male, he's gonna wanna water your bass at some point. It looks temptingly like a fire hydrant to him. So I'd watch him carefully whenever he goes near the bass.

should be fine. once u get used to owning a dog you'll find yourself putting your expensive stuff elsewhere.

my dog chewed up my reading glasses when i first got her. lol
