Hi all at TalkBass
I'm currently in the middle of a rebuild of a PJ bass to custom spec, and It's currently wired to 2x volume, master tone and output jack on the top (like the modern jazz basses). Whether I'm going over the top in making it unique or it's a genuinely good idea, I've sketched a way of wiring 2x volume and 2x tone, and was hoping to find out the following...
a) does it even work?
b) any Fenders (or Leo Fender designs) that have used 2V 2T in the past
The wires pointing down from the pots are shield, bridge ground, bridge pup and neck pup. It's been drawn as if looking at the casings of the pot
Many thanks all,
Isaac
