Windows program to lay out a pedal board?

Thanks Piedro - should have that fixed tonight when I get home. It's an easy fix, just don't have the source code at work to take care of it. Post a couple of your creations just to show what it can do :)

I'm trying to find a way to be able to save/load boards so you can start creating one and finishing later but it may take a while. Object serialization on silverlight isn't the greatest so I'll have to do it manually.

This is great! I been searching for something like this for a long time!!
I really like the simplicity of it.. but it could do better tho.
I know its still a work in progress, so i'll keep that in mind.

Just wanted to let you a few things know tho.

1. It wasnt very clear to me what dimensions are used.. (is this in inches? cm's?) And i had a lot of trouble (using the dimensions found on the TBWiki, to get the widest/deepest into the correct W/H) get in the right box.

2. I also didnt realise at first that when you select a color its alpha is standard at 0% - so my first pedal, wanting it to be gray, i just slide up halfway, but got a 50% transparent pedal...

I know these things are selfexplaned after you use it twice, just naming the stuff i got on my way to make my first pedalboard.

3. Using a black background and black label tekst.. well......

4. It would be easy if you could edit the box you just made, instead of deleting it and starting all over

5. When i took a snapshot, and safed the .png, and i got back to the program, the menu at the bottom dissapeared! Its gone now - until i hit refresh! The .png is nowhere to find either!
I did take some screenshots tho:

And i must say, using pictures found on the internet is crappy. So, when you make a DB... it would be nice if it had some good art/pics in it.
I really liked the board better with just the color boxes... it looks nicer:

Changes coming soon:

When clicking the red button on the top right of a pedal, pop up the same box you use to create items and let you edit the content.

Set alpha to 100% by default.

As for other comments:
Not sure what the PNG is nowhere to be found. I have a function to hide the buttons during the snapshot so they don't show up in the saved image - maybe there is a bug in there where I don't re-enable it. Will look into this.

Window size - there will be rezing in the future in the settings area.

Alpha 0.0.0.9 is up.

Issues addressed from the comments above:

*Alpha is set to 1 by default so pedal are not transparent
*Edit feature added by clicking on the red box on the upper left of each item. That will bring up the edit box so you can change whatever you need.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback!

Now it's displaying the page as a video with no content. I'm using Moonlight for Linux in FF3.
Here's a picture if it helps:

I use Microsoft Visio.

I copy/paste pics from www & get pedal dimensions from mfg websites. Some pic trimming/modding in Paint and presto! You got a good representation of your real life pedal board. Great aid to designing my own DIY board.
