Thanks man, I appreciate the sentiment. I admit it's a weird design, and probably turns some people off or at least doesn't tick all their boxes.

Plus I'm competing against really exceptional work this year.

Thanks folks, always nice to be noticed.

After playing it a few times, there are still a couple of playability issues that I haven't gotten around to fixing yet. I've got several pressing builds and since this one is personal, it will have to wait a bit. I've been able to get some really usable tones out of it, and although that preamp doesn't colour my rainbow entirely, it's quiet and has a wide range of adjustability.

I have a few extra days off around the upcoming May long weekend, so I'll see if I can carve out a few hours to spend time on this thing, and see if I can't get up a sound clip.
