Winter Build Off 2022 - Renewal/Rebirth

We should all build more stands, cases and gig bags.
Yes, that's currently the plan, but I'll put up a separate discussion soon. Same time-frame, within the dates that demarcate the northern hemisphere season, so in this case, June 21 to September 22. More to come in a couple of weeks.
Well, I am running out of space on my stands
I need to start building an extension for the house. This build brings me up to 9 basses....

There's always been banter in buildoff threads, sometimes long after the buildoff is done. From my perspective at least, I would definitely encourage anyone to make comments or ask questions in the threads. I think the concern in the past was the builder themselves continuing to post content specifically to try to influence the vote and/or as a continuation of the build process once you were supposed to be "done."
@Beej, is the WBO getting a mention in other areas of TB or in the newsletter? Just curious.
Yeah, I mean usually the voting threads end up on the front page. Right?
Those are all amazing builds. I have a hard time picking my favorites, too many great projects.
I have noticed that the "partial build" category has a very wide spectrum of "partial" this year. We have everything from body builds with bought necks all the way to 99% scratch builds, with only the neck blank pre-laminated or maybe body halves joined before. Both kinds of projects are great in their own way, but hard to compare. Maybe this could be something to consider for the next buildoff, similar to pre-slotted or radiused fretboards.
Not that it really matters, this was a great buildoff!

Scratch build is the one giving me a hard time.Voting has turned out to be a near impossible task for me.
I'll have to come up with some type of list of criteria and do it like a robot. The emotional struggle is real.
