NAMM officially starts tomorrow, but I came a day early to visit my niece and nephew, and then hang out with a bunch of bassers at Downtown Disney. Thanks again to @Andy Brown and @TonyP- for helping to get into NAMM this year.

The evening started with me trying to keep up with the kids playing Just Dance on the Nintendo Switch. I got so sweaty, I had to go back to my room and clean up before I could hit the Uva Bar.

It appears that I was lagging behind, because I got a text from someone asking where I was. Our very own @BassCliff

Chance Wilder Onody was present https://www.chancewilderonody.com/
He was at the Tsunami Bass Hang, and is a tremendous talent.

Cliff wasn't playing Downtown Disney this year, but Carmel Helene was. Her bassist is Tkai (not sure on how to spell his name).

From left to right, there's Pete Hilton (of Hilton Guitars), Chance Onody, and Kieth Stixx of Tsunami Cables (and the owner of a genuine heavy metal name).

And to end the night, our very own @lowendmafia challenged me to name a perfect album.

I like that Sonic Blue Mustang Bass.(Tkai ?) Derek Frank just posted picking up a 1973 LP Blue Competition one from a vintage dealer at last weekend's NAMM--and he is stoked. I have a 75 Mustang bass and it freaks me out every day--especially recording. Any day this bass sits with a P Bass any day--in my books. Nice pics BTW :)

Geez; just when I think there can't be any more from NAMM...
I noticed what looks like a Supro and AC catalog.
Did many manufacturers have catalogs at NAMM?
I have a nice collection of vintage paper but haven't found much printed material these days.

Watching these pictures makes me think that Gibson made an amazing job at destroying a brand's reputation...

This is Juninho Braguinha, a brazillian bassist and one of the top players of his generation.

I saw some pictures of the Tsunami V-15. Has anyone got a chance of hearing it or even played with one?

Thanks to you all for all the pics and the time it took to get and post !

I've always wished in a way that Spector would have made some series of bass that looked like Warwicks, just to even things out . . . . . and the new Trace gear reminds me of when Hartley Peavey used to rag his competitors for 'being the same name under the 3rd or 4th owner'.
