I dont like the idea of that stuff, just because the power of the electonic waves required, and would be over long periods of time etc etc.

it was done years ago by Tesla. Edison and Westinghouse were against it because if electricity came through the air they couldn't bill you for it.

When my Dad was a shop teacher, he recreated a few of Tesla's inventions in the electronics lab. Wireless transmission was one of them. I don't see why it couldn't be done safely at lower voltage/current.

A friend of mine worked over in germany with a company who were making generators that you would have in your house. The power would still travel through mains lines, but within your house you wouldnt need plug sockets etc.
The only issue with that is so many things we use are high power consumption, PC's, hoovers, cookers etc etc.
True but the article mentions mostly battery powered items. With todays electonics, you could probably have all household appliances what would work off the "Tesla" power.
No, he didn't need one. He just carried a furring strip and whacked anyone that needed it

Wow...they did a lot more than I was giving them credit for. I thought they were just a crappy early-90's rock band.

No no no. Tesla was a guy who invented a machine that would duplicate people, which was very useful for magical acts at the time. Tesla would have absolutely nothing to do with rock music whatsoever.

Tesla and Edison competed over many designs and patents. Edison's idea was to run a DC system for power distribution. It wasn't efficient and required a very complex power grid. Tesla came up with the idea of using AC current that's obviously still in use today. I'm pretty sure THAT was his greatest achievment. He also discovered the radio signal before Marconi but it wasn't until MUCH later that he got credit for it. He also invented Flourescent lights. Pretty sharp guy From what I remember, he also saw visions and made prophecies like Nostradamus
