Wireless Guitar System Question

I wouldn't put too much stock in a YouTube demo. As Cyrus pointed out, bass taxes a wireless system more than guitar does. Also, YouTube isn't for critical listening.

I wouldn't buy the Nady. But if *you're* hell bent on it, at least buy it from a vendor that allows returns, and give it a full audition before that return period expires.

Oh boy, I sure hope I didn't screw up on going wireless!

I have a Carvin BX500 bass head which I really like. So I decided to go wireless and house my head with a power conditioner and a rack mounted wireless system - all from Carvin. I bought the Carvin UX1000 wireless system.

Of course now I'm scanning the web site and started reading all the Line 6 recommendations and am not feeling to good about what I ordered. Ha!

I haven't recieved my shipment yet, but I wonder if I should return it, bite the bullet on the return costs, and buy a Line 6 system?

Has anyone had any experience with the Carvin wireless units?

My guitarist plays a line 6 system. Its horrible and goes out every other show. No experience with carvin systems but I've never found anything carvin I didn't like. I use a shure pgx1 and its beyond awesome.

I use the G30, not as much love here for it though. I do find the battery lid pops open too easily so I have to duct tape it down. sounds great though.

I've used a ton of wireless systems over the past 15 years. I highly recommend the Line 6 G50. I've had really good luck with mine. I got it on eBay for about $275. Make sure to buy some good replacement cables though because the ones that come with it aren't reliable. Good replacement cables are hard to find though. I bought mine from Link Removed.

I got one from some cat in the UK that makes them costing.colors -length- some other cool " noisless" options.took about 5 days to get to CT. HIGHLY RECOMENDED :thumbup:
