I would go for the base model. It's what I've done in the past. I've bought a few pairs as back ups, but I always end up lending them out and not getting them back because the people like them so much. For that price, worth a try. There's the base model, or a "tunnable" [sic] Pro model w/ a 4-switch EQ of some sort. Would you happen to know if that's the better choice or "don't care"?

In general, getting back to customs, to get a really good seal, I've found that silicone IEMs work better for me than acrylic. YMMV, of course.
