I just picked up an old wireless system and thought it might be fun as it would help facilitate more stunts and some frenzied running and dancing around with my bass at gigs.
When I tried it, I was able to get through about half of the first set before I had to plug in the old fashioned way. The wireless system totally changed my EQ to the point where my "almost feedback proof" bass and rig started howling and whistling a little. I even tried straddling the bass to "clamp" the top and back with my thighs and knees in a feeble attempt to dampen the thing to no avail.
Anyone have some suggestions or is this the way of the wireless systems?
