Wiring a MN Blend Pot

Just wanted to follow up. I did end up ordering some Link Removed but haven't installed them yet. I currently still have my 250k mn blend pot installed and decided, for simplicity, I would just test by wiring in some 220K resistors in parallel to the wipers on the 250k mn lugs. It isn't an exact comparison to a true 100k mn blend pot, but it highlighted some issues for me. What I noticed is that high end is blended out quicker than low end, so the treble frequencies are lost pretty quickly even with the "100k" blend, so the blend behavior still isn't that ideal, it still seems to transition from middle to neck, middle to bridge very quickly, because all of the tonal variety happens in the treble/upper-mid frequencies. I almost wonder if the solution to this could be to incorporate some variety of a "treble-bleed" type mod to the blend pot. But I'm skirting awfully close to the point where an active blend circuit would be vastly superior

did you ever end up trying those 100K MN pots (ungrounded)?
if so, how did they work compared to 250K MN (ungrounded)?
 
I have not yet installed the 100k MN cut trace pot yet- The time frame is dependent upon the builder's progress which is annoying but upon delivery I will update here. However, I will not be able to compare the 250 to it as the bass will be delivered with the 100...
