Wiring advice needed

So I’ll be putting a t40 pickup in a peavey fury and I have to get a new wiring harness anyways. But should I go with 250k pots or 500? I also wanted to split the coils and I was just gonna go with a toggle switch to do whatever I needed. I was looking at this but it has 500k pots and I do want more low end, would it be necessary to get 250k or would I be okay with this and just use the toggl to split my coils? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00XVMLDOQ/ref=ox_sc_act_image_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
I don’t really care to have push pull pots, I just want good lows and a fun little project and since I can cool split I thought it would be cool to do. What do y’all think?

500k. As you turn them down a bit they will drop resistance and be at 250k at some point and bleed off highs as you dial back, so you can have the best of both worlds. If you find it too quiet, use the amp controls to make up the difference. In practice your drop in highs will happen much quicker than a major volume drop as you turn it down.
