wiring an OBP 3 with stacked knobs

Anyone attempted this? I am not sure If I want to drill more holes in my warwick.

I'm trying to do the same thing (or very similar) right now. Here's the problem: It's real tough to find the right pots for the setup I'm trying to do.

My Warmoth Gecko is currently wired vol - vol - mid w/separate freq selector switch - stacked Bass/Treb. What I want to do is Master Vol - Blend - stacked mid w/sweep - stacked bass/treb.

I am using Seymour Duncan Basslines and the OBP-3, SD says I need a 100K blend pot, which I can't seem to find, and worse yet, Aguilar says I need a 500K linear taper for the mid/sweep, I can't locate this anywhere.

Is this at all similar to your situation? Does anyone have any ideas? We could use some help here!

Just to clarify, the 500K linear taper would be a dual 500K linear taper, concentric. The top would be mid cut/boost, the bottom would be mid freq sweep.

There is a way to avoid drilling holes on your warwick. On my corvette I used the stacked bass/treble pot, mid pot with the pull/push 400/800 selector and a stacked volume/blend pot with the push pull active passive. Thats 3 pots in total and no extra holes needed to be drilled. Talk to Brian @ www.bestbassgear.com and he will be able to help you out with the pots you need.
