Wiring diagram for sr Premium ibanez

First off, I don't really know anything about the electronics/wiring/soldiering type side of things in bass guitars so forgive this question if its a horribly stupid one but I was looking at the electronics in my bass the other night and now looking at the wiring diagram above and noticing two empty white slots right next to both ends of where the main "PCB w/ outpout" wires and got to wondering what would happen if I unplugged where they are now and put them into the two empty slots next to them what would happen? Anything? I guess what I'm wondering is if there are any different wiring set-ups you can do to get a different sound or anything else cool like that?

Yeah! You can move the regular output plug over to where it says +6db and you get a louder output from your bass. If you do this though the active and passive modes will be at noticeably different volumes. You can also move the plug in BEQ3 over to VM3 - VM3 is meant for EHB basses, or basses with a "sweepable mids" control, but it works just fine on those without it. VM3 tames the treble knob and makes it boost in a much more musical way, to my ears, than BEQ3 does. Not sure what else it does, but VM3 is the newer mode, and people say that BEQ3 is "infamous" with old Bartolini MK1 pickups.
