Id argue that if you cant solder, you should learn to, as opposed to wasting money on someone else doing it. Passive basses are a very easy solder job.If you can read wiring diagrams, look up a jazz bass diagram and wire it like that. If you can't solder, or don't know someone who does, take it to a tech. It shouldn't be an expensive repair...
