So yeah, what the title says.
Getting ready to do a mod project on my MIM P. I've got the Will Power Middle and Neck pickups on the way, and I'm looking to do a Sheehan-type wiring, but I want to sum everything to one output jack.
I've found a schematic online for the Attitude bass, but that's for a dual-output.
I'm pretty air-headed when it comes to electronics but I can follow a diagram.
I need a diagram that has the neck pickup (mud bucker) w/ volume and hi cut switch, neck pickup with just volume, summed to one jack.
I realized that this is just standard jazz wiring (plus the switch), but if at all possible I'm hoping to avoid the volume drop that happens when two pickups are at equal volumes. Does that make sense? Am I better off using dual outputs?
My goal is to be able to use the tone control on the neck pickup to dial out any amount of necessary highs, while having the P pickup be full range.
Is this do-able? Any help (and artwork) is much appreciated. Please include any links that may help, such as the proper switch to use for the high cut on the neck pickup.
