Wiring help

Ok. I recently routed out a space on my P bass for a MM humbucker. I ordered the Guitar Fetish alnico V MM style humbucker and it looks as if it's made for coil tapping. I don't want to do all that mess, just a simple Toggle, Volume Tone configuration.

I searched before I started this project and found a great diagram someone made but I don't know what to do with all these other wires?

If someone could help me out here about how to wire this up, I'd really appreciate it.

Looks like a hot, a ground, a series link, and a shield ground.

The two grounds go to ground, the hot is the output, and the series link is left untouched.

Is the series link the two twisted wires? My dimarzio picups have the same type wiring but the green is to a ground, the black and white wires are joined together and the red was the hot wire.

GFS sent a ..."instruction" sheet which fails to show the type of pickup I have and it's saying the green is the hot wire.

Yes. Try using black as the hot and green as the ground. If the pickups sound thin together, use green as the hot and black as the ground.

Not quite sure whats going on. P pickups work through the switch in both first position and middle position, but the MM pickup still doesnt. I have the silver shield to the ground, green to the switch, black to the ground, and red and white by themselves, and no output.

Nevermind I'm a moron, the red and white werent connected together.
