Wiring help!!

Afternoon all. Futher from my earlier thread about a new a/c input for the Gallien Krueger MB112 mk1, I fianlly got one, but when I came to wiring it in I forgot to note which cable went where.

Here's a picture to see where we are at. Now the question is this. The leftt plug on the input seen from the back goes to the power switch at the top, and the right plug goes to another plug on the circuit board. Is this right? I think this is how it was wired but I'm not sure and I don't want to kill anyone (myself). Does it even matter?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hot goes to the switch. Ground should go to the chassis. Process of elimination says neutral would go to the board connection (which should also be a ground path).

Always verify before taking advice from random people on the internet. :)

Mr Weapon, they're interchangeable, identical little plugs.

Mr 33, Ground is ok, thats yellow and went to the top. I tried to do one plug at a time so I could take it from one and put it straight to another, e,g, Off the right side of one and onto the right side of the other, and tehn deal with the left. The only thing is in my hamfisted way, they all ended up off. I'm still not sure how it happened.

As for hot and neutral, they're identical black wires so that doesn't help (Don't take that bad, my ire is directed at the cable makers, not you). Is there any way of knowing which holes on the power cord correspond to +ve and neutral??

Ok, progress. It actuality has the polarity right there on the cable! Right L, I presume for Live, left N for Neutral and the top one, earth sign, which corresponds with where it's connected on the inside.

Can anyone else confirm what Mr 33 said about Live to power switch etc? Surely two people on the internet can't be wrong...?
