Wiring left handed

I'm gonna be putting a model one in my sg and had a question. I'm a lefty and will be using lefty pots. I have the attached wiring diagram, which I'm assuming is for a righty. So which wires do I change around? Just the two outside legs on each pot?

Also, is this diagram looking at it from the under the pots? I'm assuming it is.

Also, the pots will obviously be the other way around so the volume is closer to the neck. Would just rotating that image 180° work? Or would I have to flip it?

Don't mess with the switch wiring. If you're doing series/single coil/parallel, the single coil mode won't work with the terminals miswired.

I've heard some people question why a lefty would want reversed controls. Isn't it better to leave them functional in the normal clockwise=louder fashion?

If you mean just wiring them backwards, it essentially turns them into on/off switches. At least for the audio tapers

"Left handed pots" would be a colloquial term in the guitar parts industry. The taper of an audio tapered pot is not symmetrical, so if you reverse the wiring, the taper will then be backwards. For the volume pot, you would want either a linear taper or a reverse-log taper ("B" and "C," respectively.), depending on personal preference. For the tone pot, you want reverse-log.

As far as the diagram goes, for the switch, should I assume the top left terminal in the diagram is terminal #1?

yes the mirror-image diagram works for the two pots themselves.

use a linear volume (it's the same both ways as well as having a better sweep for bass) and a "lefty" (reverse audio) tone pot. allparts sells them.

I did. I was replying to the guy that said to get a linear for the volume.

Also, I decided to just use a push/pull put for the switch and only do series/parallel for now. If I want series to be pushed in, and parallel to be pulled out, how should it get wired? Should I do it just like the diagram if I'm looking at the six lugs with the knob part facing up?

you wouldn't need to mirror-image the switch, it'll work the same either way.

it looks like if that were a push-pull, you'd want to see it with the knob on the bottom in that diagram; otherwise, i think "up" would be series.
