Wiring...... Pots... which is the problem?

i recently Re-wired my bass (p/j setup) because my split coil Pup volume knob didnt work. so i fixed that, then i noticed that my Singlecoil Pup volume knob doesnt work unless its all the way off, but it shuts both pups off... i dont know what the problem could be... I need help... the tone knob works fine, and not the Split coil pup volume knob works fine... but the Singlecoil pup volume knob is... well... practically non-existent... its bothering me...

Would anyone know what the problem is?

One side of the volume pot is connected to signal ground.
The center wiper lug connects to the pickup's signal wire.
The other outer lug is output to the tone control and output jack.

i know. i have it set up the way it was before.. but it just doesnt work... i think i might need to get new pots or something...
