Wiring Question

Say I wanted to hook my Ampeg PB250 Head up to a 2x12 and 2x10 at once, both rated at 8Ohms, with my head rated at 4Ohms minimum, and the head has one regular speaker jack and one speakon, can I connect one cab through the speakon and the other through the cable?

Yes, that will work just fine. You can run two lines out from the head to the cabs, OR you can run one line from the amp to cab1, then another line from cab1 to cab2, and either way it will see 4 ohms from two 8 ohm speakers wired in these ways.
