Hi Guys

We came across this quote which was up for a bit of debate and thus spawned our weekly discussion topic for this week

"Without music life ain't worth diddley."- Thelonious Monk

This was taken from a http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6VV1E...feature=channel .

I am sure Monk is not the first (or last) to have this outlook on music, but given his statement it posed the question - What about other important parts of life - family, friends......life itself . Would you trade these other aspects of your life just for Music ?

I wouldn't give up music for anything, even if I could. Like everyone else here I suppose, I love music because I was born that way; it wasn't and never has been a choice I was free to make. My foot taps all on its own without any conscious intervention. I'm hard wired :D
