Double Bass Wizzy 10 cover?

I want a cover for my Wizzy 10 but don't want the backpack...has anybody custom ordered a regular cover for a Wizzy 10? Is there something already out there?

The extra set of feet on the cab side make fitting a bit unusual.

I've continued to be very happy with the Meinl Deluxe Cajon bag that exactly fits my Wizzy 10 combined with my Focus in its padded case. It has held up well and gives excellent protection. My initial solution--a padded floor tom bag--worked but was not as compact and convenient to carry.

Thanks to LowNote's homework in that other thread I picked up the same cajon bag. Just got it the other day and I haven't actually taken it to a gig yet.

But I'm happy with the fit. Enough room to hold the Wizzy 10 pretty snugly along with a Shuttle 3.0T and cables above the cab. I also got an EBG stand that folds up small enough to stash in that area.

If you're looking more for a cover rather than a bag, this place (Invalid Link Removed) seems to have some neat stuff. I briefly considered that but I ultimately liked the bag with the shoulder strap and extra room.

I too have been using a Meinl Deluxe Cajon bag, based on leads found here in TB. Many thanks to whoever posted this first.

I carry the W10, a pedal tuner, speaker and instrument cables, and an EA Micro 300 (in a laptop sleeve) in it. Good setup for carrying, and reasonably priced, as well.

The Mooradian/Peter Hoffman bag looks very nice too, though.

See the picture in the thread I referenced earlier. The focus and the Wizzy fit exactly in the Meinl Deluxe Cajon Bag. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Meinl-Cajon-Bag-Deluxe?sku=445823 Although I'm not sure I would do this all the time, I've checked my Wizzy 10 as airline baggage in this bag alone without any damage to the speaker.

I was really just looking for a dust cover, but the lower priced cajon bag doesn't cost a whole lot more than a dust cover (I usually use LeCover).

I've ordered the lower priced Meinl bag and will report back when it arrives next week.

Thanks much Erik! Yes, I saw your earlier post, but I thought it was perhaps the earlier Focus (I or II?)w/ thinner dimensions than my 2R III, that was pictured in your bag .

Those Cajon bags look ideal.

I'm a bit late to the party here but I'm duty-bound to report my recent experience with Invalid Link Removed, studioslips.com.

I was cruising the web looking for somebody to make me a custom case for an EBG I've laid my hands on and quite like (it's a Kramer Ferrington, BTW) and I stumbled across studioslips. I have long wanted a dust cover for my Ampeg speaker -- it's got the carpet-type covering on it and the cats freaking love it -- so I had studioslips make one up for me. The experience was terrific. It's a perfect custom fit, made and delivered very quickly across great distances, price probably more than you'd care to spend until you thought about it for a minute and realized it's pretty darn fair.

Somebody to keep in mind. They did a great job for me.

Post-note: D'Oh!! I see ewarren88 already mentioned studioslips in his post above. Oh well: I can contribute my actual experience with them. Thumbs up in every respect.

The $49 Meinl bag arrived. It offers plenty of padding and I can fit the Wizzy 10 plus the Clarus in its bag. There should be room for a few small things, too, maybe cables or a pedal.

The only minus I see is the bulkiness of the bag when packed that takes away from the charm of grabbing the little cab in one hand while hanging the amp bag on the shoulder. But the bag sure offers good protection and costs about the same as a padded cover.
