yeah... i was actually TRYING to get to a tone i liked with the Geiger Counter and leave it... but it would occasionally jump waveforms during power on and DRASTICALLY change the tone. kinda too much pedal with out SOME type of backup/preset table i think.

i am super interested in the smaller Civilian Issue version tho.

Hmmm... Did William Mass Destruction say anything in regards to the powering up problem?

I concur about the "no preset" table being an unfortunate factor.

yeah. he was very helpful, but he said it was a problem he couldn't reproduce in his shop. i bought it through a different site, Rainbow Guitars in Az, and THEY were very helpful and sent me a replacement to my original one. it did the same thing. i also had this weird issue where the LED would only occasionally come on when i clicked it on. on both of them.

but it had very clean wiring inside and was made like a tank. i've talked to people that have the Fat Man and they love it.

i don't think it's WMD fault. they seem to make the good stuff.

so..... dunno.... certain tech devices DO hate me. printers fail inexplicably if i spend too much time around them. i think i have a very specific entropic field that gets attached to certain devices and destroys them. which actually hurts me a little inside. i'm a huge geek and i want all gear to just love me. forever and ever. back and forth.
