Wondering about headphones

Stanton DJ Pro 60.

Quality sound quality, and can handle a lot more power than others in its class.

I wonder what's the difference between AKG K240M and -DF models. The DFs are only $10 more expensive, and I found one site saying that M's are ideal for home recording, DFs for studio and live use. Anyone?

From the web page the DF's seem to use higher quality matched components so they can be individually measured and certified against a specific freqency response curve, the M's are probably of a more "standard quality". The price difference seems to be much higher than $10 from what I have found though.
