I can still make them. I stopped selling them to KC Strings because there wasn't enough sales at the wholesale level to warrant continuing production. retail, perhaps another story.

Rick made me a steel tipped endpin that I fitted myself. It works and sounds great. I have one of each endpin for each of my basses. Best money for tone ratio ever!

i need one because i have a recording coming up and no matter what i do i cant get my steel one to stop rattling on the open A string!

You can usually stop the rattling by cutting the steel rod shorter, so you don't have so much up inside the bass.
