Hi there. Does anybody have a source or know of anywhere that makes wood pickguards. Doesn't have to be the highest quality wood as they are going to be hand painted. Thanks very much.

Not trying to be snarky, just an honest question: if they're going to be painted, why would they need to be wood?
Not snarky at all. I'm not the artist so I assumed that wood would be the easiest to paint on but if the standard pickguard material is paintable then you are right, why would they have to be painted.
