Wood selection for custom Kiesel Vader 5

Hi everybody,

I'm planning to order Kiesel Vader 5 string bass and looking for input. I'm OK with electronics and hardware but when it comes to wood I'm pretty much lost.

Mahogany or alder body?

Now, top wood and fretboard. I really like royal ebony two tone fingerboard and that's where it's getting complicated. Which top wood to choose? I want to glossy finish in natural wood that matches fingerboard.
This is selection: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Can you please advise what woods from this list will work well with royal ebony fretboard. Burled woods are out of my budget.

Thanks,
Ed

I love black limba so I have to at least suggest it as either a body wood or a top. This one doesn't have royal ebony board but would look just as good if it did:

You didn't say if "natural wood" also included dyes or bursts, but if so you can tweak color to suit your preference. Ex:

The second bass does have a royal ebony board so imagine that board on the top bass body.

Whatever you get post some pictures when it arrives!

For body I'm asking for opinion what should work better, for top wood/neck combo I'm asking what woods look better together.

Thanks,
Ed
As far as what "works", you'll get the same range of opinions as you would asking what looks better. Just opinions.
Anything they offer as a body wood will work just fine.
You might as well just pick what you think looks the best.
