I just finished making a dining room table for my brother. Materials cost him just under $200. It took me about a week to make.

I tried making a table once; turns out the legs all have to be exactly the same length for it to work...

I cheated and used pre-milled legs from Home Depot (I don't have a wood lathe ......... yet!)
