woolly mammoth quarter pound

I recently got a vexter series woolly mammoth and I'm really digging it. I also want some spb-3 pickups in my pbass. Because the quarter pound pickups have so much output, is it at all possible to make it work with the woolly mammoth? Does anyone have experience with the two?

You'll probably be OK, even though the spb-3 is "hot" it's still a passive pickup. It's active basses with their low output impedance that sound "off" with transistor fuzzes.
