Double Bass Work In New York

Hey everyone,

Highly experienced bassist from Ohio looking for a new start in NY. Any suggestions? I've joined the union, and have played several volunteer orchestras, still trying to break into the scene. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would contact some of the personnel managers in town, try and play for the principal players, you could be put on a sub list....?
