I haven't tried the Fuel Tank Jr. Batteries aren't really a hassle for me. The tuner only needs a battery change maybe 1 or 2 times a year. The comp maybe every 3 months.

Worship Bass Pedalboards

I haven't tried the Fuel Tank Jr. Batteries aren't really a hassle for me. The tuner only needs a battery change maybe 1 or 2 times a year. The comp maybe every 3 months.
The muff is an awesome pedal, if used correctly. I bought it purely to play hysteria by muse, and it works great for that.
The only other time I use it is at times when the guitars are not so present. Trust me, if you click it on with 2 guitars going you will disappear in the mix. I don't know if there is a mid cut built into this pedal or what, but even with the blend on it still isn't very present in a mix.
Ymmv, imo, ime and everything else.

Here's mine. I know this is a massive board for a worship bassist, and I certainly wish it was more portable, but I really want to have only one board. So this board covers bass and guitar, both for worship and all of my goofing around at home.

The two Digitech FS3X footswitches control the Eventides (Pitchfactor on the left, Modfactor on the right). The Ernie Ball VP Jr. 25k controls the Modfactor, the T1M expression knob controls the Pitchfactor. Powered by a Pedal Power Mondo with the SuperSynth on the courtesy AC outlet.
Everything "works" on both bass/guitar, obviously. The Empress, Hardwire, Eventides, and M5 are the ones that I am most likely to use on both. The synths, M87, and B7K are pretty much strictly bass, and the Morpheus is pretty much strictly a guitar pedal.

True, but I actually don't use it. I use the tuner in my Pitchfactor and/or my headstock tuner (D'Addario NS micro). One of the aux switches for the Pitchfactor goes straight to the tuner.

I have had the Pitchfactor for a while, I really love it. It is created for things like pitchshifting, Whammy-style effects, arpeggios, etc. But it also does things like chorus ("micropitch"), synth sounds ("synthonizer"), and modulated delays. It really covers a ton of ground. It is my favorite not-totally-essential "toy" pedal, although I use it more on guitar than bass. It actually graduated from "toy" to fairly essential for me on guitar when I was doing some leading a few months ago.
I've only had the Modfactor for a few weeks, so I'm still dialing it in. My initial reactions are that the chorus is great, and the flanger/phaser/tremolo are good to very good. I don't have much use for the rotary speaker/vibrato/ring mod, though I might want to learn (especially the ring mod). I am having difficulty dialing in great sounds for the Q-wah and modfilter, though I believe good sounds are in there. And the Undulator is a very cool verb-y effect that I'm just learning and might end up using a bit.
There is a lot of common ground between the two Eventides and the M5, but still a reason to have all of them. With the PF covering pitch effects, and the MF covering modulation, I'm going to be using the M5 mostly for delay/reverb, along with the noise gate and some occasional use of the filters/synth/modulations (I have no real need for the dirt).
New addition to the pedalboard, Electro Harmonix Small Q-Tron... Now I have a lot of toys to play with...
Can anyone advise a really good reverb and Overdrive/Distortion pedals?
I've been considering at the Digitec XBD stomper...but I wonder if it's just another poor COSM disortion moddler. It looks versatile but I don't know how well it sounds.
My primary FX is a Zoom B3, but it's O/D and fuzz patches aren't that great. I'm using the B3 mainly to provide a Sans Amp EQ, Dual band Compressor and a 3rd FX (Octaver or Chorus). The Arena Reverb patch is very "me" and I really like it, but I'd like to drop a nice dirt and synth in there between the reverb and the B3. So I'm looking for a good Dirt and Reverb to sit on the end of my chain.
