I mean, a fender tone stack is quite hard to make sound middy!

Yeah -- you might want to try one (@Luke the Fluke)

I recently purchased a REVV G8 noise gate to mess around with. But first I gave it to my lead guitarist to try.

He was absolutely gobsmacked at the results he was getting -- zero noise. He had tried noise gates many moons ago and was not impressed with them.

Now I just got find a way to get it back from him. :)

How are you eq'ing the amp block?

Both cabs are 45 degree and a HPF/LPF of around 25-11.5

I picked up a Stomp a while back that had several of of them installed. Some very usable ones - Noble DI, EHX MicroSynth, Bassrigs 1 & 2, Tonehammer to name a few - and IMO a few that I'll never use outside of playing around at home.

I don't have one of the Nano+ with the Sushi Box, but this is my Nano without it.
For the Nano+, just imagine a "Boss" sized pedal after the Stomp, and a little extra space - maybe an inch or two.

Did you ever try the nano board as pictured in the Mono Tick? I see a little bit of overhang on both ends and I'm trying to figure out if a Nano with a Stomp and Khan (would hang off a little) would fit in a tick with the overhang.

I have never had Tick to try it in. The angle of the picture makes it look like it's hanging over, but it really goes just right to the edge of the Nano. I think a Khan and Stomp would hang over a bit. Not sure how tight the fit in a Tick would be. I don't mind the Nano+. It has a nice case and is easy to carry. Main bass on my back, guitar stand/backup bass in one hand, Nano+ in the other and I'm good to go. I suppose I could get by without the Sushi Box and go Nano/Tick. Gonna give the Sushi Box a couple more gigs to see.

I believe if it can fit on a Nano, it'll fit in a Tick.

You might look at the D'Addario XPand 1 and case. The case is one of the best I've ever seen, and very travel worthy.

Using a tape measure in my Tick 2.0... I'd say it's 14.5 inches maximum lengthwise internally. You'll maybe have about a 3/4 inch of space to play with in-between the Stomp and Khan... not much room for overhang if you want to fit it a tick.

I'm not using any of the compressors in the stomp as of yet. I need the Keeley metering. The footswitch pedals are 70s Chorus, Bass Octaver, and Plate Reverb (just a touch). My preferred amp sim in the Stomp at this point is the Mesa M9. The M9 set to flat with the Voicing control selected to 2 and a little drive actually sounds comparable to the DCX Bass.
