Might be purchasing this as an alternative to the HX stomp.

I'd like to know your experiences, those who had/have this.

Just in case anyone was unaware, the current HX firmware has a tone hammer model that's actually pretty solid.

could program multiple gain settings to the footswitches and solve the main issue most people have with the AGS button on the hardware piece.

I own one and am very happy with it.

I use it as a standalone solution. I own several pedalboards…but when I don't want to carry a pedalboard I take Tone Hammer. Yesterday, I travelled to a gig by train. There was a backline at the gig so I brought just my Bass, clip-on tuner, Tone Hammer and two cables. Everything in one gig bag.

Tone Hammer works as a substitute for several devices: di box, EQ/HPF//LPF, boost and drive. I power it via phantom power from FOH.

Unlike other players, I have no problem setting unity level between clean signal and overdriven sound: I use the "Engage" footswitch instead of the "AGS" footswitch.

I highly recommend it!

You may want to keep the Khan long enough to A/B it with the Noble, once it arrives. You may decide you like the sound of the Khan better.

My P-Bass never sounded so good in my IEMs. This DCX Bass thing is teriffic. Love the metering on the Keeley Comp Pro. The church provided the REDDI.

That's awesome. Not sure I can get something like that past the finance office. I have my tuner, rolls and Stomp, a comfy drum throne to sit on, cabels and a stand. I can live with that. I just bring my bass, IEM's and iPad every Sunday.

One of the other bassists at my former church left his RedDi there. I miss that team and that DI.

just done downsizing my church PB, only what I need.

Ran my band board at church this morning, was leading and playing bass with drums and a keyboard player. Had the MBD on a fair bit for a bit of grind and even kicked the boost in a couple of times for some heavier choruses with power chords! First time running DI into the sound system at thick church (I normally bring my own amp and cab) and I was very happy with how the bass sounded in the mix!

So much hum from the pickups this morning - even with them in humbucking mode - my new preamp was exceptional at amplifying the hum

Went with a Bassman patch this week in the HX Stomp. Thursday, WL thought it sounded too middy so I fell back to my SVT patch, grindy but works well in the mix. I worked on the Bassman patch yesterday, bumped up the bass a little and brought down the mids a hair. Also replaced the dual 810 cabs with dual 215s. FOH loved it this morning and no comments about middiness from WL.
