Will probably go with the LT. I have used the Helix floor a few times and it is great - just more features than I would ever use and fairly pricey. Will do some more homework on the LT though. Thanks.

I think next year I'm gonna spring for a Stomp. If nothing else to just mess around with. Lately I've been buying alot of drumming stuff, but a few bass things too. So a stomp has been kinda on the back burner.

On the flipside I've made a few tweaks to my board and it's the happiest I've been with the sound across multiple basses.

Allow me to differ from the rest a bit. I use this setup for bass and guitar. Completely standalone and it sounds fantastic. I have used a couple of the IMA presets for bass and do not care for them. But still, the HX Stomp has a lot of nice applications for bass and guitar. With the extension pedal, it is extremely versatile. And in Snapshot Mode, you can setup for verse/chorus/bridge or for different songs as needed. I've used it for years and it's great.

How do you like the Pinstripe? I believe I saw Ian was using some of their stuff here recently and that was the first I had heard of them.

Thanks for the input. Trying to find the balance between what I might reasonably need and having lots of fun extras that I would never use.

I stumbled on it because I was looking for a white DI that would match my Stormtrooper White HX Stomp. Turns out, the DISO is a great line isolator. It gives a MUCH cleaner signal than a typical DI. In fact, it was designed for just such an application. Check out the video below that the owner of Pinstripe sent to me.

Honestly that's all our setlists require. I keep messing around with the punchiest fat clean tone I can achieve. And then a nice drive setting.

I do keep chatting with our WL because I would like to incorporate a Moog which he is totally open to but that is a side tangent.

I'd like one for my own personal tinkering anyway, just figuring out the best setup for one of those.

I'm the same. Most days I just bring my Tone Hammer pedal for EQ. It's phantom-powered so I don't even need a plug. I've found that in church settings with all the sweeping effects on guitars, anything more than a clean, dry signal on bass gets lost in the mix.

If I had a moog it would be much easier to do that but there's so much synth bass now that I need my stomp for.

My rig today. Put the stomp on its own mini board for when I need synth and going to have a separate analog board for when I don't.

Ran IMA's oc2 synth preset on O Come All Ye Faithful and it was awesome.

I have everything I need to assemble this… I don't really want to mount the Khan VTDI on a board again, I kinda like having it separate. I still have the quad cortex, but for some reason I'm thinking this is a good idea. I guess I'd be using the stomp for effects only if I did?
