Great core tone. Liked the drive and pick in the opening verses. What was that you had on the last big chorus?
I appreciate someone chiming in. I would really like to be more fluent in ancient Greek, but I feel I'd borderline need to attend classes for it. I have been reading a ton of scholars fluent in it for the last 2 years though. I love it. Sorry back on topic.
Hard to beat the players circle rewards D'addario has too. Well I buy Evans drum heads and such as well for that very reason. How tough was the BEAD setup to do? I really want to do one on a project bass as I just prefer the neck size of a 4 string.
I don’t think anything except drive but I honestly don’t remember… I coulda kicked on some chorus with the drive but the drive was always on for the whole song. At least I think it was? I was just “in the moment” ya know?
Easy. Very minor nut filing to account for the larger strings.
The tension is definitely lower, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but sometimes I forget and play to hard.
Very cool, I've been thinking of grabbing a cheaper Sire Z3 or something and doing it. I feel you with the tension. I tend to play with higher action because of that same thing, and I don't like hearing a bunch of fret clank
Class is best because there you can learn from your fellow students and there is a structure holding you accountable, but biblical Greek is probably one of the easiest languages to learn outside of a classroom. Not because the language itself is easy, but because the Greek New Testament is finite so there's only so much vocabulary and grammar a reader will encounter. Plus New Testament Greek is less complex than most other ancient Greek literature (Hebrews is a notable exception): it's sort of like reading the English of a chapter book aimed at middle schoolers. (This accessibility is a big part of why the spread of early Christianity was successful.) Above all, though, biblical Greek is relatively easy because it has been taught for so long: the resources supporting it are unusually vast and the methods for progressing learners have been refined to a high degree.

I did it on… not a cheap bass.
I wanted to mention to the group that I’m selling my entire “worship board.” It’s fantastic, but a lot of it is redundant with my main, all-purpose pedalboard.

Considering replacing pedals with an HX Stomp or HX Stomp XL. Looking for opinions on which one I should go with.
I play bass about 50% of the time, 25% of the time on acoustic guitar and 25% on electric. I have a pedal board (individual pedals) for bass and the WT has a Helix Multieffects Floor Processor I can use when playing electric. Problem is that several other players also use it and settings get changed around.
Maybe I should go with an HX Stomp or Stomp LX, set it up like I want, and use it all the time for electric, bass and acoustic. Anyone using either Stomp or Stomp LX to cover electric, acoustic and bass?

I am using an LT for bass and my son uses it for guitar. Not at the same time.
In this case, I’d start with a helix LT at minimum and consider either a quad cortex (I chose this) or a full helix floor. If I played all 3 I would opt for something more capable, if I were you…
The absolute bare minimum would be a stomp xl.

I agree with others, if you are playing that many different instruments fairly evenly, the Helix floor or LT would be your best bet for an all in one.
Signal chain starts in the top right: stacked compressors, more, into the stomp with doom and DCX in the effect loop, then out to the Interbass for final preamp, can sim, and balanced out.
Out of the dozen or so I’ve tried, the MORE is my favorite tone thickener pedal. Yes, the results are subtle, and in a room full of people, not sure anyone would notice, but I notice in the amount of heft and weight it adds to the signal. I’ve used it in a bunch of different ways, and every time it makes everything before and after just sound fuller.
