Worth it to upgrade to a full stack?

I have two thoughts here.

1) I'd go with 2 212 cabinets or 2 410 cabinets. I can't describe the difference, but I prefer the sound of like speakers working together.

2) I learned a long time ago that I can't win a volume war against a guitar player. You get more speakers, a bigger amp, etc., and you get louder. Then the guitar player turns up more and before you know it, you've run out of headroom again. The guitar player can keep turning up because he's TRYING to make his amp distort. Nobody wins that battle.

If I were in your shoes, and if I liked the band, I'd have two 8-ohm 410s. But that's it. An LMII is a pretty loud little amp; the guitar player(s) might have to meet you halfway.

hehe I don't like the sound of that. I do like the band I'm in. Actually I started this band with the two guitar players who are long time friends. They do sort of listen when I say they are too loud but its like I have to constantly remind them to turn it down. Sometimes they do and sometimes they give me half ass excuses why they shouldn't. I basically just gave up on it.
I am now thinking of getting two 410s in place of my 212. Thanks.

The best way to add volume is always to add more cone mass. A 200 watt amp driving a 410 will be louder than a 400 watt amp driving a 112.
Also if you put a 410 on each side of the drummer he will play even hard because he will feel he can't be heard. It will also put a 410 near the guitar player so he will turn up. Stack them behind you
