Would Mike Tobias make a 34" scale bass?

Guys -- I actually bought the 34" MTD 535 discussed above (with the Rose of the Mountain top) today from the TB'er that was selling ...great guy to deal with BTW.
2 questions...
1. Would it still be called an MTD 535 or is it an MTD 534?
2. Do 5-string sets come in different scales or will the same set work on a 34" 5er as a 35" 5er?
BTW, although this will be my first foray into the 5-string world, I have been playing bass since 1983. Please excuse my ignorance on the whole 5-string thing!!

I can now answer my own question -- Mike DOES call a 34" scale 5-string a 534, not a 535....
