Would this be possible?

I'm curious whether my dream fretless would be possible to make:Zon Hyperbass style retunable bridge, tuning resistant neck, detuners, 3 octave neck, 5string, and with Wal pickups and electronics. I know that it probably wouldn't be economically feasible, but could a luthier make this?

it is very difficult to get wal pickups without buying a wal bass

Doesn't sound that far fetched at all, really. The only problem might be tracking down a set of Wal electronics (unless you can still get them, in which case I need a link; I got basses to Wal up). Any competent luthier should be able to build it for you if you can track a couple of those specific hardware components (if they don't stock them normally, like Zon does).

Zon only puts their detunable bridge on their Series II Hyperbasses and apparently you can't get them from them in any other format or by itself, so you'd have to find a machinist who could make one for you.
