Would You be Concerned?

Installed a fresh set of Roto 66 strings last night and noticed this little separation on the D and G strings (circled areas). The opposite sides are good. I’m jamming at home and all is fine but am hesitant to take out… Thanks.

Not at all. Super common. I’ve personally seen it plenty and it’s never been a problem.

Considering they're roundwound, slight separation of the outer winding at the break angle over the saddle won't negatively affect anything.
