So you're saying you would pay $950 plus shipping for a $200 guitar? Freedom of choice also includes making bad decisions and throwing money away as you stated so have it your way, to each their own.Everytime I begin to feel ever so slightly less misanthropic I come back and read through a thread like this and find those feelings immediately justified and return tenthfold. The seller is being honest with what he has, if you don't like the asking price too bad, no one is forcing you to purchase it. Isn't that one of the big points of pride and freedom some of you feel so boastful about? If they can find someone whom sees that amount of value in the instrument, then hats of to them. Some of you pay similarly inflated prices for nothing more other than pride fueled bragging rights and a little gold star in the form of a cringe inducing sticker. At least this instrument has some originality and doesn't have "Im a Pretentious Gatekeeper" written all over it.
I was only pointing out the ripoff to those who may not know actual values of guitars but would care about being taken advantage of. I did this with a musician a few years back who was going to buy a MIK Fender Precision for a high price until I explained to him they were built with plywood bodies and not worth squat.
