Anyone remember that near mint all original 62 jazz that was starting at 12k a few months back? Looks like the same seller.

  4. synergy: the sum of the parts are greater than the whole. It would be a nice mod for the SX or maybe even a "Relic" body.

  5. Geez, I'm sitting here thinking "that's an ungodly low price for a pre-CBS jazz" and then I notice that it's just the neck. :rollno:

  7. yeah, hes also selling a 1964 Fender Jazzmaster, a 1971 Fender Telecaster, a 1972 Fender Telecaster Thinline, and a 1972 Fender Jazz Bass, definitely looks like a collector unloading. least he seems reputable and trustworthy (though i can't imagine paying that much for just a neck)

Hey, good for him, if he can get that kind of cake for a pre-CBS neck. Ya gotta love capitalism, there's always someone willing to pay big money for just about anything ...

UNfortunately that is the reality, no matter how much us TB'ers bicker about what ungodly priced bass item is being sold on eBay, there is always someone out there to pay for it.

  11. Hmmm.

Not in this case. Zero bids. heh.
