Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie Fuzz

I am really looking into this pedal after thinking about poney'ing up some more doh over a LBM. My question is to those who own it, how does it play with hot active basses?

My main bass is a MM Bongo HH and I would really not want to get something that would hate it. Basically, it needs to interact as well as, if not better than the much cheaper LBM.

Yes, some bass players really like to have that option, but 99% of the time, this pedal is just fine without the mod on any active bass.

The mod can be cool, just because it gives a slightly different tone to the pedal, almost like a roll-back on the volume knob, but I wouldn't say it's better or worse, just different.

best,

matt
