Never have to replace the batteries, solar powered, water proof, satellite sync automatically keeps atomic time, and has a secondary time zone for when I travel. Not the most stylish, but I don't wear it as a bracelet, just to tell time. Casio FTW!

Actually, you will have to replace the "battery replacement" which is a capacitor after about 10 years. Very finicky little pricks too - you touch positive and negative with your fingers and short them, permanently ruined. They come with plastic tweezers for the job.

Oddly, even though I repair and sell watches I don't really like wearing them - no jewelry flopping around on my body please. But people at social events will ask what I do and it would look stupid not to have a watch. So 12(only) of the approx. 3000 I have here are designated as mine for those occasions. Periodically I sell "mine" off and rotate.

I've got two watches. My everyday wearer is a Timex Humvee, and for special occasions I pull out my Rolex Submariner.

This is not my actual watch, but the watch on the left, a divers 150 with a pepsi bezel was the last watch I owned, right down to the rubber strap. It glowed so brightly in the dark I wore it on the palm side of my right wrist (lefty here) so I could hide it without using my left hand (just press it against my right leg) if I needed to be totally blacked out.

They’re pretty close in size but the Pelagos 39 is visibly smaller side by side and on the wrist.

I'm a collector. My main watch is my Galaxy 6 Classic, but I have everything from some surprisingly really nice watches off Amazon for $20-$30 to a some higher ends, including a Movado that I love, and many in-between.
