Wrist watches

Hmm. I try not to post on fashion or apparel threads, as I don't th ink about this stuff. Yet I do. For some reason, absolutely nothing would convince me to wear a wrist watch other than an extremely low profile, gold, analog face watch. Weird that I have such a clear vision on a topic that won't matter to me, as I won't wear watches, by policy....
The only wristwatch that I'll wear, but only on special occassions, is a windup Timex that my father casually gave to me one day when I was about 8 years old. It was kind of beat up and the lens was all scratched and the back of the watch was tarnished. I asked my dad why it had dirt inside it and he said it was kind of impossible to keep mud out of it while hiking around in an Asian jungle day after day. 
Those Timex commercials are right because the watch still works fine.

I'm old school so I'm rocking the pocket sundial.
But if I had to wear a wristwatch, I'd take this one with the built in sliderule. Then I'd yell at whippersnappers with calculator watches.
