WSC Humbuckers

Any info or opinions about WSC humbucker pickups? Korean made, I believe; initials stand for "Woo Sung Chorus." I've heard some favorable comments about their guitar pickups, but nothing about their bass pickups. Thanks!

WSC is the one and same company that makes Tune Guitar Technology basses.Play a Tune bass and you'll hear a WSC/Tune bass pickup.

I found them on the web but I see they want $100 for the same pickup that was $35 back in 2010. They're pickups aren't bad but you can get better quality for 100 bucks
Link Removed the minimum order is 20 pickups. If you buy only 1 pickup they want $200 plus shipping

I don't know. The price for a single BT6 TWB63 pickup is $38.00.In the end you pay $76.00.Not too shabby.Has any one ordered anything from WSC?

you can buy 1 pickup but the price will double at checkout. then you'll have to pay a $125 "internal charge", whatever that means. then you'll have to pay for shipping. not worth it for an overpriced pickup thats just a couple of notches above those junk chinese ones. I wrote them an email about the $100 pickup and they lowered it to $70 saying "sorry, we don't make prices". WSC seems to be a joke

It seems Status Graphite uses these pups,
Not just Status Graphite ; the big F are also a customer.

Status claims on their website to make their own pickups, and Roswell's website simply lists them as "someone we work with." I wonder if Status just gets their plastic covers from them. Or perhaps the 6-string guitar pickups?

Very interesting. I was thinking Status used the Roswell pups, but their own preamps. I've definitely played a Washburn with Roswell pups and it sounded good. Very "flat" and uncolored, which is what I personally prefer. I like my amp to do most of the work from an eq perspective.

Yeah they say their bass pups are made in-house but no mention of the guitar pickups. And I doubt Status does their own molding for the plastic covers so I assume they just get those from Roswell? My B-2's Status pickups definitely have a little somethin' extra going on in the lower mids, I wouldn't really call them "flat."
