I ordered two sets of Dunlop Super Brights (40-100) back in November from Strings and Beyond. Today I grabbed one set to change the strings on a bass. Are these 40-60-80-100 or 45-65-85-100? I've never seen something like this.

Odd indeed! My guess they are 45-100 and the 40/100 is a catalog number.???

It's hard to find good help, these days.
The description in that same page spells out the gauges as 40-60-80-100, in direct contradiction to the yellow sticker. Dunlop needs to make peace with their own brain, as we say around here.They show the same thing on the Dunlop website! The whole company must be a counterfeit!!

They're pretty good about straightening out their f-ups and providing free stuff in compensation. It's been a decade+ since the QC / intonation debacle and I'm still going thru all the free SuperBright sets they sent.

Somebody there had ONE job that day! 
If I encountered the situation, I’d check the gauges with digital calipers to see exactly what they are. If they’re not what I was looking for, I’d contact the company.

It’s a typo, in fact it should be 45-67-89-113. 
Bassist Darryl Anders is Bass Products Mgr. for Dunlop and responded to a question I asked regarding string length next day.

Maybe an error on the sticker. In any case, I don't find 45-100 to be a weird set at all. I have used 45-100s for years. 45-105 is much more commonly found, and I may have been kidding myself that I could actually feel/hear the difference between a 100 and a 105, but 45-100 is a common midpoint between a light 40-95 or 40-100 set and a more standard 45-105.

Someone didn't proof read their label before they sent it to the print shop. I'd venture to guess that the person making the label is/was not a bassist or guitarist.

Ok well I hope if you open these up let us know what strings are actually in that pack. That's a weird one coming from a company I don't expect that from. I've always gotten good strings from them. Even ones that I didn't care for were useable. Usually very consistent.
