Well in the movie, Jake and Elwood's bass player,(what's his name Duck, Goose or something or other?) used a big ol Ampeg SVT, has just as much round things as their 440 Dodge cop car. I voted SVT CL but then again I almost always vote SVT.

This is it right here. Elwood would stand back and let Duck do his thing...Elwood had Duck Dunn playing bass for him. I don't think Elwood would be the person to ask bass gear advice from.
